If you are practicing in Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court, be aware the Discovery Commissioner’s Report and Recommendations form has been tweaked. The revised form is available here, and an instructional packet about completing the form is available here. The changes appear to primarily center upon Discovery’s new handling procedure for DCRRs. Step 1: submit the DCRR. Step 2: Once a Discovery Commissioner executes the DCRR, it will be e-served on counsel, triggering the objection period. Step 3: DCRR forwarded to district court depending upon objections. I fully expect there will be a transition period and some are going to miss the objection deadline.
