ABA Journal Honors Compelling Discovery
I am humbled to announce the ABA Journal has selected Compelling Discovery as one of the top 35 legal blogs for 2018 from among the more than 4,500 “blawgs” listed in its directory. To be considered, a blog must be nominated by its readers and the selection cannot be bought.
This is the fourth time the ABA Journal has honored the blog, but the 2018 selection represents a change in what the ABA Journal honors. In the past, it selected 100 of the top blogs. However, blogs represent only one potential source of legal information online, so the field of nominations was expanded. “The 2018 Web 100 comprises our 20 favorite web tools, joined with 35 timely and thoughtful blogs, 20 entertaining and informative podcasts, and 25 fun and useful Twitter accounts.”
With all that in mind, I thank you the readers. I have appreciated the opportunity to interact with those who submitted questions, ideas for posts, and who found the time to just let me know you find the blog useful and helpful in your daily practice. Each interaction has been a reaffirmation for me that the blog is still serving its original purpose to inform, perhaps educate, and occasionally cite obscure cultural references.
